Test Format
The driving theory test consists of two parts: multiple choice questions and a hazard perception section. We provide practise sessions for the multiple choice.
Each of our tests is made up of 50 random questions, and you have 57 minutes to complete it. You need to a score at least 43 to pass. Once you sign up, you can retake the car theory test as many times as you like during your subscription period.
The Questions
These cover essential driving and training topics, including:
- road procedure
- traffic signs and signals
- car control
- and the law
We have a licence from the DVSA to reproduce their theory test practise question bank. So the questions you see here, are just like the real thing. Therefore nothing should take you by surprise when you get there!
Many of the car theory test practise questions are very straightforward, and should not prove to be overly challenging. Others however, may really get you thinking. These are the ones which may trip you up if you take the test unprepared. So practise, practise, practise!
Study Material
To help you prepare for the test, in addition to these online practise tests, we also provide books. These are available in paperback, however, if you prefer digital, we also have PDF downloads, and eBooks. We also recommend that you study the Highway Code, and Teach Yourself Traffic Signs, an alternative way of learning your road signs.
